Top-flight draft prospect Emmanuel Mudiay dropped a slick dunk during his NBA Draft workout.

During workouts for the upcoming NBA Draft, prospect Emmanuel Mudiay threw down a smooth off-the-backboard dunk. Not that it means a whole lot in terms of draft stock, but hey, we only have somewhere between three and six games left in the season, so let’s all just absorb as much roundball as humanly possible over the next couple weeks. Besides, slow-motion dunks are never not a good thing.

See you in the dunk contest, young man.

Coming out of high school, Mudiay was an uber-talented prospect from the Dallas area. During his recruitment he was rated by 247Sports Composite as No. 1 point guard in the nation and No. 2 overall prospect (behind only potential top pick Jahlil Okafor) in the 2015 class. He initially signed to play at SMU under legendary coach Larry Brown, but later reneged and spent time playing overseas in the Chinese Basketball Association.

His stint in China was hardly memorable. Over the course of 12 games between July and December Mudiay averaged 18 points, 5.9 assists and shot 47.8% from the field. Still, at 6’5″ and having a wingspan of 6’9″ he’s an enticing prospect based on potential alone. Mudiay is expected to be a lottery pick, and could go as high as the top-5.
