Dwyane Wade is a pending free agent this summer, and fans are so scared that he’s going to leave that they’re overreacting about his grammar.

The Miami Heat aren’t in the postseason this year, and naturally they don’t know how to act now that the NBA Finals are going on and they’re not a part of it.

It had become second nature for Heat fans to casually stroll into the season during the NBA Finals, just like how they all showed up late to games throughout LeBron James’ tenure there. But as soon as he left, the tubes of paste began to be consumed and it has turned a sort of passionate fan base into a bunch of paranoid weirdos.

Look no further than how deeply fans read into Dwyane Wade casually talking about the Heat in past tense.

Dwyane Wade began a point on the NBA Finals pregame show by talking about the Miami Heat in past tense, which freaked all six Heat fans out in the worst way possible.

The reaction was swift and largely stupid.

You’ll remember that Wade was also busted on a “hot mic” at a children’s event saying he didn’t want to talk about his contract, while his rep says he was talking about not singing at the event.

Either way, one thing is officially certain — Heat fans are so scorned by LeBron James leaving that they’re paranoid about everything now. Seriously, enough tinfoil does not exist in the world to suitably supply Heat fans with the proper amount they need to protect themselves from drones trying to steal their thoughts along with Dwyane Wade.

Imagine how pissed they’re going to be when Wade is playing with LeBron James in Cleveland next year.
