It was less than two decades ago that Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls were finishing up the latter half of their two three-peats as NBA champions. The 2017-18 season will mark the official end of the twenty year celebrating for fans of that dynasty, but it appears people have already stopped caring.
As it turns out, those Bulls teams from the 90s aren’t as popular with the young people as we may have though, evidenced by the fact that Michael Jordan is now openly getting trolled for being an old man with poor taste in shoes.
Apparently, teenagers these days are dropped this “what are thoooooose” on old people who think they have a sense of fashion but don’t Millennials are growing more and more sarcastic as the years wear on.
There’s some serious irony here with Jordan being trolled for being an old man with poor taste in shoes. After all, he helped innovate the shoe game in the late 80s and throughout the next two decades with his Jordan brand. Air Jordans are what sole collectors dream about, and having all of them in your collection is a coveted prize a select few people have been able to know.
The internet does exist, and knowing that MJ is the forefather of the basketball shoe game isn’t really that difficult to find out. It just must be that people don’t care like they used to.
Yet, here’s Jordan getting trolled for his poor taste in shoes. Folks, this is truly the end of an era.
