Bobby Wagner of the Seahawks had one of the big plays in the first half against the Chiefs on Friday night

You know, we keep getting reminded time and time again that the Seattle Seahawks’ defense can strike at any time, and it could be anyone from that unit doing the damage. On Friday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, it was linebacker Bobby Wagner that wanted to take the glory.

With the first half winding down, Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith was actually having himself a pretty nice night to this point. Heck, he even threw a touchdown to a wide receiver, something that didn’t happen at all last season. But, that good night quickly turned into a bad one.

All it took was one pass that went — well, directly to Bobby Wagner who returned it to the house for six.

Yeah, just like that, a good night that you’re having can be ruined by someone from that Seahawks defense. We’ve seen it over and over, and it looks like this coming year will be no different.

Again, though, right up until here Alex Smith was having himself a pretty solid night. But with his night being done soon with the first half coming to a close, that was not the way that he wanted to end it.
