The Dallas Cowboys completed a comeback with a huge catch by Terrance Williams

It feels safe to say that, with the Dallas Cowboys trailing by a touchdown and Brandon Weeden playing quarterback in the fourth quarter, fans were not optimistic when they started deep in their own territory in the waning minutes against the New Orleans Saints. However, they should have trusted in their redheaded leader.

Weeden drove the Cowboys some 90 yards down the field in two minutes. It was the final play of the drive, though, that was Dallas’ most impressive as Weeden unleashed a lob to the back-right corner of the endzone and a streaking Terrance Williams dove to make an incredible touchdown catch:

That was an incredible effort by Williams to dive parallel to the ground and then secure the catch as he went to the ground. More importantly, Dan Bailey nailed the extra point to tie the game at 20-20.

Unfortunately for Williams, Weeden, and the Cowboys, their defense failed miserably in stopping the Saints on their final drive, despite New Orleans having no timeouts remaining. Drew Brees drove his team down the field incredibly quickly and the Saints had a shot at a game-winning field goal, but the attempt was no good.

Things just keep getting crazier with Weeden and the Cowboys.
