The Chicago Cubs are taking on the New York Mets Sunday night in Game 2 of the NLCS, so naturally the Cubs’ Twitter account is on a tweeting spree. The Chicago darlings do have one of the best run social media accounts in sports, although there are some things that you should not do when interacting with them.
One of the things that you should not do when going at the Cubs on Twitter is ask for free stuff. If you do, you will get owned.
A fan of the Cubbies decided that they would as the Cubs for a Kyle Schwarber jersey. They didn’t want to pay for it, though, they just wanted it for nothing. Because of this, we got this amazing interaction.

Oh, quite frankly, that is just terrific. That’s just some awesome stuff and a lesson to everyone that you should not ask the Cubs for free things. If you come at them acting like a cheapskate, then it will not end well for you and you’ll become an internet sensation, but not the kind you’d like to be.
