The New England Patriots are 6-0 and playing the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football at Gillette Stadium. Apparently, New England tight end Rob Gronkowski is ready to get to 7-0.

On the Patriots’ opening drive, Gronkowski caught a ball down the seam and was able to plow through the Miami defense, trucking his way to a 47-yard touchdown catch. Gronkowski finished off the play with his trademark spike, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Gronkowski might be the toughest player in football to stop. There can be plenty of arguments made for Antonio Brown, Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson and others, but Gronkowski has an incredible blend of size, speed and  athleticism. Gronkowski also has an unwavering attitude, bordering on arrogance but seemingly staying within himself to maximize productivity.

In 2015, Gronkowski already has 35 catches for 580 yards and seven touchdowns. For most tight ends, that would be a great season and perhaps a career year. For the sixth-year man out of the University of Arizona, it is merely the start of another All-Pro season. Gronkowski has been banged up in the past with back, forearm and knee issues, but he is healthy now and looking more dominant than ever.

Last year, the 6-foot-6, 265-pounder caught 82 passes for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was named to the All-Pro team despite actually missing one game.
