Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton/em>
The Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers are squared off in a battle of top teams in the NFC on Sunday. The Panthers got off to a hot start thanks to Cam Newton running for a shot-yardage touchdown to retake the lead.
It wasn’t just your average run into the end zone, Newton dove over the pile and extended to break the plane and get the score.
Newton also likes to give touchdown balls to kids in the stands, but Julius Peppers took the ball and wouldn’t give it to Newton to execute his ritual.
You can see it just at the end of the video above, Newton goes to get the ball from Peppers who looks like he sky hooks it over Newton.
Julius Peppers wouldn't give the ball to Cam Newton after that TD leap. Tossed it to official. Cam went and got it.

Newton got a ball and followed through anyways.
Cam tried to get TD ball after the play, but Peppers couldn't give it to him. Cam got a ball from ballboy and gave it away to the kid

[UPDATE:] Here is a better video of Peppers not giving the ball back to Newton.
