ESPN has come up with a fantastic promo for Wednesday’s night game featuring the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks

Thanks to DeAndre Jordan’s bizarre free agency period, the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks are the best rivalry in the NBA, and ESPN has come up with a brilliant commercial for their game Wednesday night.

DeAndre Jordan was at center stage in one of the most absurd free agent signings in NBA history this past summer. Jordan told the Mavericks and owner Mark Cuban that he was going to sign with Dallas, had a change of heart, and re-signed with the Clippers in one the craziest turn of events this league has witnessed.

From Emoji Wars to Cuban taking shots at the Clippers organization, this rivalry is heating up right before our eyes.

The two teams met earlier this season in LA, with the Clippers winning easily, 104-88. The game was physical from the start, and Jordan and Dirk Nowitzki got into it late in the second quarter.

The teams meet again this Wednesday in Dallas and the game will be televised on ESPN. Jordan is expected to get booed every time he touches the ball and when he goes to the free-throw line.

ESPN came out with a promo on Monday that perfectly previews the matchup between these two Western Conference teams.

There are so many good parts in this commercial. From Phil Collins singing  “Against All Odds (take a look at me now)” and timing it with Jordan hugging Chris Paul and flashing to Cuban’s distraught face, ESPN did a tremendous job in making this commercial.

The game itself should be a good one as well.
