Kirk Cousins has decided to trademark what is becoming his signature catchphrase ‘You Like That?!?’ after the Washington Redskins’ Week 15 victory.

Kirk Cousins has won over the Washington Redskins with his great quarterback play of 2015. After thousands of people at FedEx Field shouted “You Like That?!?” during Washington’s victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 15 to move to 7-7 on the year, Cousins has reportedly begun filling out the paper work to trademark his catch phrase, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

Washington is reportedly looking into giving their starting quarterback an extension in the offseason. Whether or not Washington will use the franchise tag on their passer, Cousins should start to see some more money, and his soon-to-be trademarked catchphrase maybe a part of this increased income.

Cousins tweeted out this Sunday evening after his Redskins beat the Bills to move to 7-7.

It had to occur to him sometime during his victory celebration at Shake Shack when Cousins realized that he might need to trademark the phrase that is sweeping the Greater DC are: “You Like That?!?”

Several weeks ago, who would have thought that one-point victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would yield the best one liner of the 2015 NFL season. Cousins was obviously fired up about Washington’s win over Tampa Bay and uttered the definitive phrase that has best summarized the Redskins’ push to the NFC Playoffs.

Things are great at the moment for both Cousins and for the Redskins. At 7-7 and in the lead of the NFC East, there is a lot to like about this football team and its starting quarterback.
