Kansas City Chiefs 7-round mock draft
Kansas City Chiefs seven-round mock draft.
The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched their third consecutive winning season, and this one will go down in the history books. After starting 1-5 including five consecutive losses between Weeks 2 and 6, the Chiefs have ripped off eight wins in a row and now find themselves firmly entrenched in both the AFC West and wild card races.
Kansas City is doing much of this because of a great defense. The unit is led by a secondary with Eric Berry and Ron Parker on the back end, along with corners Sean Smith and rookie sensation Marcus Peters. The front seven is also terrific with the talents of Justin Houston, Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali and Dontari Poe.
The offense is nothing special is many ways, but it ranks in the top 10 in terms of scoring. Alex Smith has been leading a balanced attack with Jeremy Maclin on the outside and Travis Kelce dominating down the hashmarks. The running game has been picked up by Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware, after superstar running back Jamaal Charles tore his ACL in Week 5.
So who will the Chiefs be looking to draft? What positions need the most help? Let’s take a look.
