Christmas, at least for many, is a time of cheer and happiness. In Philadelphia and a few other cities that boast NBA teams, however, the holiday season is not bringing any sense of real joy with regard to the basketball court.

In this space each week, we break down the worst of the worst in the NBA from the prism of extra ping-pong balls in the upcoming 2016 NBA Draft Lottery, and this post-Christmas edition is no different. While it isn’t exactly enjoyable to discuss the bottom of the league at all times, it is our solemn duty, and not even the holidays can inspire a break in the action.
