Jeb Bush is apparently on Clemson and Dabo Swinney’s side in the College Football Playoff title game

With only the weekend standing between college football fans and the College Football Playoff National Championship between the Clemson Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide, it’s basically an all-out war of fans pledging their allegiance to one team or the other. However, GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush is looking to win some votes in the state of South Carolina with his pledge of loyalty for Monday night’s game.

On Friday, Bush tweeted out a video of him wearing a camouflage Clemson hat singing the Tigers’ fight song with a group of Clemson fans. To top it all off, he also included the phrase, “Beat Saban!” in his caption:

Consider me too afraid whether or not to say that this is a good or bad thing for the Tigers in the title game on Monday night.

In fairness to Bush, though, at least he’s not like one of his fellow Republican candidates in Carly Fiorina. Fiorina, a Stanford graduate, turned her back on her alma-mater in the Rose Bowl to try and cheaply pander for votes from Iowa Hawkeyes fans.

Considering that Bush attended the University of Texas—who are nowhere near the title game as of right now—we’ll let his support of Clemson slide in this instance.
