Legendary musical David Bowie is dead at the age of 69 after an 18-month battle with cancer.
The world of music, movies and entertainment has lost one of it’s most unique stars. Artist David Bowie has died at the age of 69 following an 18-month battle with cancer. Once again, time has taken something so precious from the world but Bowie leaves behind a fountain of artistic achievements that will forever be adored and discovered by the masses.
Not only was Bowie a gift to the music world, but his impact reaches far beyond that into the worlds of fashion and movies. The world isn’t the same place it was before Bowie arrived and it probably won’t see another star shine as brightly or as originally as he did.
There is only one Bowie, and all others like him who came or will come after him will be second-best to the original.
While it was the middle of the night in some parts of the world, that didn’t stop the outpouring of condolences on social media from rolling in.
Bowie may not be here anymore, but the legacy he leaves behind is beyond tremendous. Whether it’s his early years, the Ziggy Stardust era or everything he’s done both loudly and quietly in recent years, his music will live forever.
