Super Bowl 50 odds.

The Carolina Panthers are favored over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50, ranging anywhere from 3.5 to four points.

Carolina was impressive beyond reproach in its wins throughout the NFC playoffs. after going 15-1 in the regular season, the Panthers rolled into the NFC playoffs and smashed the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. Carolina jumped all over the two-time NFC defending champions, taking a 31-0 lead at halftime before holding on for a seven-point victory. In the NFC Championship Game, the Panthers crushed Arizona behind a bevy of turnovers, 49-15.

Denver has been less impressive but just as effective. After going 12-4 to earn the AFC’s top seed behind the National Football League’s best defense, the Broncos were able to grind out a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Divisional round before upsetting the New England Patriots, 20-18. Von Miller was devastating in the AFC title game, racking up 2.5 sacks on Tom Brady.

In an age all about offense, it will be two of the best defenses trying to take down the Vince Lombardi Trophy. It will be fascinating to see if Peyton Manning or Cam Newton does a better job of solving their respective challenge.
