Ric Flair joined Tom Brady and a host of others at the University of Michigan for National Signing Day.

National Signing Day is one of the most hectic and exciting days in the college football offseason. The future of a team is determined by how well a coach recruits, making the day a culmination of an entire year of work to form the best team in college football.

The bigger schools tend to blow things out of proportion, and the University of Michigan is doing just that on Wednesday.

Could it be? It’s the Nature Boy Ric Flair in attendance at Michigan’s celebration for signing day, surely letting out too many “WOOOOO’s” as the day goes on.

He joins Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, Lou Holtz, and a list of others at UM to celebrate high school football players coming to the university to play more football.

Flair was likely brought on by Jim Harbaugh, who had the 16-time World Heavyweight champion speak to the San Francisco 49ers before the Super Bowl two years ago. The speech was very uncomfortable and awkward, which may have contributed to the 49ers’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Michigan fans will hope to avoid similar bad luck this football season, although the luck seems to be in their favor with this year’s strong recruiting class.

Having the likes of Brady, Jeter, and even Migos in attendance help put the school amongst the elite, and make it a top competitor, as least in recruiting realm, for years to come.
