Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant is a credentialed photographer at Super Bowl 50.
The Oklahoma City Thunder squared off in a great battle with the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, and had a day off on Sunday, before the team departs for Phoenix. With the Thunder being in the bay area, superstar forward Kevin Durant decided to head to Super Bowl 50.
Durant wasn’t just there to spectate like many celebrities and athletes. In fact, Durant was at the Super Bowl as a credentialed photographer.
Like some athletes, Durant has always had a passion for photography and getting to be able to work at the biggest game of them all and the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl has to be a dream come true for him.
He’s a superstar on the court, but he’s also pretty good with the camera. He’s not the first athlete to take up photography either. Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson is also a credentialed photographer and has worked some of the biggest events in sports history.
It’s clear that like Johnson, Durant will have a passion to follow when his playing days are over. It’s not clear which side Durant is pulling for on Sunday.
