San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The San Antonio Spurs are clearly one of the best teams in the entire NBA, even if they lost in their first game out of the All-Star break. However, they look like one of the only teams who could win the Western Conference outside of the Golden State Warriors. Contrarily, the Spurs’ opponents on Friday night in the Los Angeles Lakers are one of the NBA’s worst.

Kawhi Leonard continues to be one of the most underappreciated players in the league as he’s performed like an MVP candidate all season. With LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker taking the floor alongside him, Leonard and company should be able to get the Spurs back on track. As for the Lakers, Kobe Bryant’s final season is coming rapidly to a close, but the real key is for Byron Scott to start showing faith in D’Angelo Russell and Julius Randle down the home stretch of the regular season, starting with the Spurs.
