Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes continues to amaze, as he bought a Grand Champion hog

Yoenis Cespedes has had quite an eventful Spring Training. The Cuban outfielder is fresh from signing a three-year, $75 million contract with the New York Mets, a deal that includes an opt-out clause in the first year. He has also bought some nice cars along the way. Spending over $1 million on various brands, he has brought each one to Mets camp, which has caused a media frenzy. Cars that shoot fire and three-wheeled cars were some of the more notable ones.

Many were wondering what would La Potencia have up his sleeve when he was done investing in cars. It appears we have our answer: farm animals.

ESPN’s Adam Rubin heard a rumor that Cespedes attended the St. Lucie County Fair on Saturday night in Florida. While at the County Fair, Yoenis Cespedes might have invested in a wild hog.

While he unfortunately didn’t wear any cowboy gear, Cespedes might have made the most random purchase in baseball history. The purchase shows that Yoenis Cespedes once again has won the MLB offseason. He has become one of the most unpredictable human beings, spending his money as he pleases. While he has stated he buys what he has never had while in Cuba, I’m sure the pig won’t be a new house pet for the mighty Cespedes. Known for his eating habits, I’m sure Yo knows how to make some good BBQ.

Hopefully the pig purchase won’t be too much of a distraction for Cespedes, as he will look to bring the Mets back into the World Series. I can’t wait to see what comes next from the crazy life of Yoenis Cespedes.
