WWE Wrestlemania 32 Rumors: AJ Styles to face Chris Jericho

According to a rumor, AJ Style and Chris Jericho will be squaring off at WWE Wrestlemania 32

After facing one another in a trilogy of matches that concluded at WWE Fastlane 2016, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho have started tagging together as Y2AJ. The newly formed tag team is set to face The New Day on the March 7 episode of WWE RAW for the Tag Team Championships. Despite the opportunity at the belts and the fact that WWE has already released a Y2AJ shirt, though, the two superstars are apparently set to face off at WrestleMania 32.

In a Reddit thread regarding the new Y2AJ merchandise on WWE Shop, u/falconarrow chimed in with a highly interesting bit of information as he commented that it was odd for WWE to be releasing a shirt for the tag team considering that Styles and Jericho were going to be facing one another at WrestleMania 32.

While a random visitor saying something like this on r/squaredcircle is nothing to worry about, “falconarrow” is far from your average user. He’s a verified source of spoilers and information with the mods and one of the first people on the Internet to start the buzz about a surprise return on RAW two weeks ago that ultimately turned out to be the return of Shane McMahon. Moreover, he provided insider information on numerous events in early 2015 before going on hiatus for a number of reasons.

Given u/falconarrow’s history with these types of things, this rumor has to be taken almost as written in stone, which means that one of Style or Jericho is turning on the other some time in the very near future.

That being said, AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 32 in front of 100,000 people is an absolute dream for pro wrestling enthusiasts as it’s two legitimate greats in the history of the business getting their time to shine. Let’s hope this rumor is as true as it appears to be, because this would be incredible.
