March Madness 2016: NCAA.com has lone perfect bracket remaining

After a crazy Friday in March Madness, there is one perfect bracket left on the Internet at NCAA.com

If you thought the first day of 2016 March Madness on Thursday was crazy with the Yale Bulldogs and Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans pulling big upsets, then there may not be a word in the English language to describe what’s happened on Friday. With the No. 15 seed Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders knocking off the Michigan State Spartans and with the No. 13 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors toppling the Cal Golden Bears, every March Madness Bracket has been busted thoroughly.

Well, every bracket except for one on NCAA.com.

After the No. 5 Maryland Terrapins got past the No. 12 South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Friday afternoon, there were no perfect brackets remaining on ESPN, CBS, or Yahoo! for their respective bracket challenges. The lone perfect bracket left on the Internet was on NCAA.com:

The last remaining perfect bracket belongs to a college freshman named Cole Parzych, having picked the first 24 games of the 2016 NCAA Tournament correctly. Oddly enough, he predicted the biggest upset to date in Middle Tennessee over Michigan State not because of some premonition about the Blue Raiders, but instead to give his favorite team, the Syracuse Orange, the best chance to advance to the Sweet 16 in his mind.

For what it’s worth, Parzych has the Orange going much further than the Sweet 16 as he actually has the Orange cutting down the nets in Houston on his still perfect bracket. While most college basketball fans would say that’s crazy, who is anyone else to argue with the guy who has the last remaining perfect bracket?
