No. 11 Gonzaga vs No. 10 Syracuse
March Madness is one of the funnest times of the sports calendar. The games are usually exciting and feature some moments that we will look back on. This is especially the case when double-digit seeds advance in the NCAA Tournament. The 2016 version featured plenty of this, with a few even going onto the Sweet 16.

One game that will feature a battle of double-digit seeds is No. 11 Gonzaga vs. No. 10 Syracuse. The winner will move on to the Elite Eight on Sunday.
It wasn’t expected that either team could make a deep run during the second weekend of March Madness, but with Michigan State going down to Middle Tennessee State, it opened up possibilities. The Spartans were thought to be a National Championship favorite by many, so the stunning change made for an interesting Midwest Region going forward.
One of Gonzaga or Syracuse could now make the Final Four if they can get past the part of the bracket that is headlined by the Virginia Cavaliers. It wouldn’t have been expected before, but anything can happen in the NCAA Tournament. Bulldogs coach Mark Few has never seen his team make it to the Final Four and his teams have only one Elite Eight on his resume.
