UConn destroyed Mississippi State on Saturday, and Twitter had some thoughts about it.
The UConn women’s team did something that no other team in March Madness did and whooped up on Mississippi State to advance to the Elite Eight. This wasn’t a power conference school taking out some low level junior college — it was an Elite Eight game taking place in the college basketball playoffs.
Upon beating Mississippi State has horrifically as they did is yet another sign that this might be the best college basketball dynasty we’ve ever seen. Props to John Wooden’s UCLA teams and some of the other dynasties over the years in college, but this UConn run has been just ridiculous and this was perhaps their proudest moment.
The reactions ranged to the beatdown from downright shocked to mouth breathers doing their thing when presented an opportunity.
Watching UConn game. Shouldn't there be a mercy rule? Poor Miss. State. Brutal.

Geno doesn't even know how to answer that question without disrespecting Miss State. so that's all he got. "The score is what it is".

But, of course, the window lickers of the world had choice opinions about this game.
Anyone want to explain why the UConn women are up 91-26 in an elite eight game? Glad to see the women's game has found parity. Geez

Just saw the UCONN score and it's 81-18 now. Women's basketball is not competitive at all. Hiw did that other team even make the tournament?

I've never recognized #ncaaW basketball as competitive, but this #UCONN team is for real! Beating #MissState 84-20 heading into the 4th qtr

UConn once again exerted their dominance on the world of College Basketball and it was both enthralling and scary all at the same time.
