Watch Philadelphia Union host Orlando City SC in MLS Eastern Conference action on Friday night.
After a disappointing loss to the Chicago Fire last weekend, the Philadelphia Union will host Orlando City SC in Friday night MLS action. Both teams sit towards the top of the standings, so Friday’s match will be worth watching.
Orlando will head into town a little light handed. Brek Shea won’t play on Friday as he serves a one-game suspension. They are also banged up and some of their star players didn’t make the trip. However, Kaka will be on the field, so the Union’s defensive unit will have their hands full guarding the star soccer player.
Philadelphia will have the Sons of Ben chanting and cheering for them for a full ninety minutes. The weather won’t be as warm as a normal April day, but that doesn’t keep the passionate Union supporters and other fans from coming out and cheering on their boys in blue.
Friday night’s game will be one of four MLS games on national television this weekend and the lone game on Friday. A win for the Union on Friday would put them back in first place, but Orlando City SC will be gunning to get at least a point on the road after last weekend’s impressive home win over the Portland Timbers.
