Tennessee Titans’ 2016 NFL schedule released
By Mike Dyce
The Tennessee Titans’ 2016 schedule has been released and you can see it in its entirety here.
The Tennessee Titans had an abysmal 2015 campaign, even with rookie quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota. The Titans finished dead last in the NFL and were awarded the No. 1 overall pick in 2016, but they traded it to the Los Angeles Rams to collect more picks.
It could be a strategy that helps them improve in 2016, and with the schedule being released on Thursday night we can see what their season will look like. The Titans have the eighth-easiest schedule in the league, so that works in their favor.
The Titans play the NFC North outside of their division, so that includes hosting the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. The Titans will go on the road to play the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. That’s about how the Titans wanted that to fall on their schedule.
They also host the Cleveland Browns, which should be a win. Unfortunately, the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders also come to Tennessee.
The Titans go on the road to play the Kansas City Chiefs, a playoff contending team. Then they travel to warm weather to play the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers as well.
A pretty favorable schedule for Mariota and company if they can take steps forward as a team.
