Boston Celtics forward Jonas Jerebko had a huge putback slam to get the Boston Celtics on the board first against the Atlanta Hawks.

After dropping the first two games of the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Atlanta Hawks, the Boston Celtics were hoping to come out and show some fight on their home court early on in Game 3 on Friday night. That’s exactly what happened courtesy of Jonas Jerebko.

As Isaiah Thomas missed an open three-point field goal to begin the game, Jerebko followed the shot the entire distance and crashed the boards for a huge putback. He put the slam down over multiple defenders trying to get the rebound and the crowd at the TD Garden went crazy over the first points of the game.

It’s been a point of emphasis for the Celtics to get some offense going, after the Hawks absolutely stifled them the first couple of games in the series. They played absolutely ugly and it didn’t look representative of a team that feels they can make a deep run in the playoffs.

Thus far, Jerebko is out to see some change to the way the Celtics are playing.
