Eden Hazard scored just his third Premier League goal, and it may have gifted Leicester City the title.

Coming into this game, all Chelsea had to do to hand their Premier League crown to Leicester City was hold Tottenham to a draw. After going down 2-0, if there was ever an unlikelier candidate to get the equalizer, it was Eden Hazard. As crazy as it might sound, last year’s Player of the Year has fallen on extremely hard times this year, as he didn’t start the game, and only had two Premier League goals to his name.

But his third goal may have just clinched the Premier League title for Leicester.

It couldn’t have been a more dramatic goal for Hazard to score, and one that the Belgian hopes is part of a massive turnaround next year. He’s been linked with a move away for months now, so it remains to be seen if that will be with Chelsea, but this goal shows that he’s still capable of being one of the world’s finest players.

As for Tottenham, this goal practically proves that Stamford Bridge is voodoo, as it is a stadium that they’ve never won at. They needed to win to stay alive in the title race, and it seemed like they would when they raced to a 2-0 lead, but Chelsea never refused to quit.

This fighting spirit is why they won the league last year, and they were willing to recapture it to gift Leicester City the title. Every Premier League fan, except for Tottenham, wanted to see them win, and Hazard looks like he’s clinched the title for them.
