Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema fired quite the interesting shot at NBA superstar LeBron James with a comparison to another basketball star.

In case you have been under a college football rock in recent years, Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema hasn’t exactly been known for being modest or knowing when to not say anything. Big Bret has fired shots at everyone from the Big Ten over schedule strength (right before losing to MAC member Toledo) and the NFL over allowing players to return to school if they aren’t drafted.

Now, Bielema is taking a shot at one of the top athletes in the entire world. When asked about what he wants from Arkansas players, the head coach brought up NBA stars LeBron James and Steph Curry….and proceeded to take a shot at LBJ in the process:

Bielema would later go on to say that he doesn’t watch basketball and should not have used the analogy. It might be smart for Big Bret to just keep his mouth shut for a while on subjects he doesn’t have a clue about.

For his entire career, LeBron James has been killed by fans and the media for being unselfish on the basketball court which has been viewed by many as folding under pressure and not wanting to mess up on the biggest stage. If Bielema and others are still bitter over “The Decision”, get over it: LeBron raised millions for charity and made the same move almost everyone else would have.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will take on Curry’s Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals for the second straight year, with Game 1 taking place Thursday night at 9 PM.
