After a four-day break from regular season games, Major League Baseball is back this Friday with every team starting a new weekend series.  All but one of the 15 games are on the fantasy baseball slate for tonight with the lone exception being the Rangers-Cubs game that gets underway at 2:20 at Wrigley.  The rest of the action not the diamond is under the lights tonight giving us 28 teams to pick from for today’s FanDuel daily picks.

Most of the games tonight feature division rivals including the Yankees @ Red Sox, Mets @ Phillies, Royals @ Tigers, Brewers @ Reds, and Orioles @ Rays in the 7:00 PM ET hour.  The other two games with start times before 8:00 are the Pirates @ Nationals and Rockies @ Braves.  At around 8:10, we get more divisional action as the Twins host the Indians while the Cardinals welcome in the Marlins in a non-divisional matchup.  Out West, the Dodgers visit the D-Backs and the Giants are in San Diego in the NL West while the Mariners host the Astros in the AL West.  The two late non-divisional games are the Blue Jays visiting the Athletics and the White Sox taking on the Angels.

With all those teams in action, there are a ton of great options for fantasy baseball. The goal of my FanDuel daily picks which you can find here almost every morning here at FanSided is to provide you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

More from Boston Red Sox

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
