Dak Prescott continued to show everyone how well he’s progressing with the Dallas Cowboys this preseason

When the Dallas Cowboys drafted Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott this past spring, there were some that thought it was a genius move in the fourth round while there were some, remembering a few of his struggles in college, who thought they were out of their minds. Well, the people in the former group are sitting rather pretty at the moment.

Last weekend in their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams, Prescott was pretty impressive as he got the start for Tony Romo. So of course, we all wondered whether or not he could replicate the performance on Friday night against the Miami Dolphins.

Well, he’s doing just fine in that regard. After entering the game following Romo getting his reps in, one of the highlights that Prescott provided was this 20-yard touchdown run, reminiscent of his days as a Bulldog.

That’s how Prescott made quite the name for himself during his college days, and from the looks of it here, he’s not missing a beat in the NFL world with his wheels.

However, don’t think that’s all he’s done. No, since coming in for Romo in the game, Prescott has also connected with Dez Bryant on a beautiful touchdown play, further showcasing just how valuable he might be to this team.

Even after just two weeks of action, you really can say that the Cowboys may have found themselves a suitable backup for Romo, who we all know is quite prone to going down with injury. If Prescott were able to pull off during a regular season what he has the past two weeks, then the Cowboys might be in good hands.
