Armanti Foreman made one of the best scoring catches that you will see all year on Sunday night

Coming into the 2016 college football season, there is a lot of pressure on Charlie Strong and the Texas Longhorns, to say the least. Their fans really want to see some results from this team this season, and they got a pretty good sign early to start the game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, thanks to the effort of Armanti Foreman.

And boy, was this one hell of an effort. Foreman made one of the best catches that you will end up seeing all season long.

Notre Dame opened the game with the ball and they took it right down the field and scored. So it was Texas’ turn to answer, and they were doing so with a true freshman starting under center in Shane Buechele. Well, he got to see that he has quite the reliable target in Foreman.

Just watch this beautiful scoring play from the two, capped off with the insane grab from Foreman for the six points.

Yep, even though we have a lot of the season left to go, that will be on the highlight reels all season long.

More importantly, though, this was a really good sign for this Texas offense. They needed to come right out there and make a statement, and they were able to do just that. They showed Notre Dame that they will not settle for a repeat of what took place last year in Austin.

It’s early in the game, and the season, thus far, but right now this looks like a Texas offense that’s ready to make some plays this year.
