Taking a look at the best College GameDay signs from Saturday, Sept. 10 at Bristol Motor Speedway for Virginia Tech vs Tennessee in the Battle at Bristol

There’s a first-ever occurrence going down on Saturday, Sept. 10 in college football. The Virginia Tech Hokies and Tennessee Volunteers will, in essence, meet in the middle geographically for a matchup. However, they’ll be making history as they turn Bristol Motor Speedway in front of 150,000 people. Of course, ESPN College GameDay had to follow. And that means that we get treated to even more chances for the best GameDay signs.

Of course, with this being a neutral field game and with so many tickets available, it also stands to reason that this would be a different kind of group of signs. These weren’t all going to be Hokies or Volunteers fans. With 150,000 people coming, it was always going to be a mix of fans. College football can unite us all at any time.

However, that also creates an eclectic mix of GameDay signs for the Battle at Bristol. Not only are we treated to fans of the two teams hating on one another. Now we get fans with no allegiance in this game taking digs at both teams. Or those making jokes just for the sake of jokes. That makes for a unique and equally hilarious batch of signs at GameDay.
