LSU fans are not happy with head football coach Les Miles. Not only is he getting hate mail from LSU boosters, but he is now receiving death threats.

LSU Tigers head football coach Les Miles is definitely feeling the heat in the early part of the 2016 NCAA season. Miles is on the hot seat in Baton Rouge after struggling to get his passing game to even mediocre in recent years.

Tigers fans were appalled by LSU’s lackluster offense effort in Week 1 against the Wisconsin Badgers in Green Bay. Though LSU beat Jacksonville State in Week 2, Tigers fans still have LSU’s 16-14 road loss to Wisconsin very much on their minds.

Miles has not only begun to start getting hate mail, but he is now even received death threats from some contingencies of Tiger Nation. According to a report from The Advocate, LSU fans disgusted with Miles have bombarded the LSU athletic department to go ahead and can its football coach.

One fan took it too far and actually wished that Miles would die. He said, “I hope they fire your stupid [butt] or you die.” Football is a religion in the Southeastern part of the United States, but wishing for a head football coach to die is just plain ludicrous.

Miles has been a huge part of the Tigers’ stability in the SEC for over the last decade. His defenses are usually top-five in the nation and the Tigers do a phenomenal job of pounding the rock. Perhaps it is time for the Tigers to part way with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron instead of forcing Miles out the door.

Miles wouldn’t be on the market for more than a weekend should LSU end his tenure in Baton Rouge. All Power 5 schools needing a head coach at the end of the year would make Miles their top coaching candidate without hesitation.
