Los Angeles Dodgers unveil #DontLookAtMe t-shirts on Twitter

In less than 24 hours, the Dodgers have crafted a perfect response to Madison Bumgarner.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have just unlocked a new level in world class baseball trolling.
With the help of some uber-fast t-shirt making company, the team has clapped back in a big way to Madison Bumgarner’s four-word provocation to Yasiel Puig during Monday night’s game.
After grounding out to Bumgarner in the 7th Inning, Puig must have looked at the Giants ace in a funny way, enough for him to repeatedly tell the once-promising slugger, “Don’t look at me.” The benches and bullpens emptied and a scuffle ensued.
The Dodgers, who hold a six-game lead in the NL West, went on to win the game 2-1. On Tuesday, they relished in the victory a little further by donning t-shirts with the overnight viral hashtag, #DontLookAtMe.
Both Puig and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez posted photos on Twitter posing with fellow Dodgers like Justin Turner and Jose De Leon, in which they wore the freshly pressed tees while covering their eyes in a unified effort to meet Bumgarner’s demand.
The feud between Bumgarner and Puig has been raging since 2014, when two incidents set the stage for Monday Night’s culminating event. First, Puig hit a homer off the ace in May of that year followed by a bat flip that Bumgarner did not entirely appreciate. Four months later in September, Bum beaned Puig, who then made his way toward the mound before both benches cleared.
Clearly, there is no love lost between these two teams who honestly seem to totally despise each other. While the Dodgers appear likely to win the division, the Giants are still fighting tooth-and-nail with both the Mets and Cardinals for one of two spots in the one-game Wild Card Playoff.
As for the equally as important battle of Twitter trolling … your move, San Francisco.
