The Arizona Cardinals are playing horrid football against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, but corner Patrick Peterson made the interception of the year.

Arizona corner Patrick Peterson showed why he is an All-Pro on Sunday, picking off Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor with one of the more incredible plays you will ever see.

The Cardinals rely heavily on Peterson, considering the rest of the corners are middling at best. In this game, he has been nothing short of sensational, punctuated by this interception:

Give the referee credit here as well. These types of plays are almost always called incomplete with a team then having to blow a challenge to get it reversed. In this instance, the officials got it right, giving Arizona the ball in its own red zone.

The Cardinals were talked about as being one of the best teams in the league coming into the season, but have played very uneven football to this point. Arizona lost its opener to Jimmy Garoppolo and the New England Patriots before plastering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, 40-7.

If Buffalo can beat Arizona, the Cardinals will be facing a long flight home. Head coach Bruce Arians has to figure out what’s wrong with his group, on both offense and defense.
