Here’s how you can watch Sunday afternoon’s Week 5 game between the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears.

The early Sunday afternoon part of the Week 5 of the NFL schedule offers an NFC North battle. The Detroit Lions (1-2) have lost two games in a row, by a combined total of eight points, and their three games this season have been decided by a total of 12 points. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears (0-3) are winless after a 31-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday night.

Injuries at running back have been a factor for both teams, with the Lions’ Ameer Abdullah (foot) possibly out for the rest of the season and Jeremy Langford expected to miss 4-6 weeks with an ankle injury. In Abdullah’s stead Theo Riddick and rookie Dwayne Washington are essentially splitting duties, and rookie Jordan Howard is expected to take over for Langford as Chicago’s lead back.

Bears’ quarterback Jay Cutler missed Week three with a sprained right thumb. While he returned to a limited practice on Wednesday, a second straight missed game looks likely after he sat out on Thursday. Brian Hoyer started against Dallas last week, going 30-for-49 for 317 yards and two touchdowns, but his numbers were inflated by a halftime deficit that forced the Bears to abandon the run. Hoyer should get another straight start on Sunday, and he may keep the job even when Cutler is healthy.

The Bears are on the fast track to a top-5 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, but division games always bring a different level of importance and intensity. The Lions need to get back on track, in order to keep some sort of pace with the Vikings and Packers in the NFC North, and a road trip to take on a reeling team should be just what the doctor ordered.
