Brand-new US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is absolutely breathtaking. The Twin Cities knew what they were doing in building this football cathedral to house the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings.
One of the Vikings’ most noted traditions is having the gjallarhorn sound before kickoff. Former star wide receiver for the Vikings Randy Moss got to be the guest blower before Minnesota’s Week 4 Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants.
Moss is one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history and he spent part of eight NFL seasons with the Vikings organization. During his first stint with Minnesota, he formed arguably the most formidable wide receiver tandem with Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter.
Moss will be enshrined in Canton as soon as he is eligible. His last NFL season came in 2012 as a member of the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers. Moss has since gone on to work as an NFL analyst, first with FOX Sports 1, and as of July 2016. with ESPN.
