The Georgia Bulldogs were upset at home by the Vanderbilt Commodores, 17-16. Dawg Nation hated every bit of it. This is how Georgia fans reacted on Twitter.

While neither team was ranked, the Vanderbilt Commodores were able to go into Athens and upset their SEC East rival in the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon, 17-16. This was Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason’s first road win as a head coach.

The Georgia faithful is not handling this well. Twitter is going insane after Georgia’s awful loss at home to Vanderbilt. This was the Bulldogs’ homecoming game and many are questioning why athletic director Greg McGarity fired longtime head coach Mark Richt. This is the first bad loss of the Kirby Smart era in Athens.

In short, the world hates the 4th and 1 play caller to run the ball anywhere near Vanderbilt Zach Cunningham. Georgia’s return game was absolutely rancid. Smart is no longer going to get the benefit of the doubt this season. Georgia is playing for playing for pride this year. Are we sure this is a bowl team?

Vanderbilt has a great defense for Mason, so props to the Commodores. How does Georgia lose at home with Jacob Eason at quarterback to Vanderbilt. Jim Chaney’s game plan on offense was worth than anything Mike Bobo ever did in Athens. Panic is in the air the Classic City.
