So Cleveland fans can watch the World Series, the Cavaliers have moved up the time of their ring ceremony.
On Tuesday, October 25, Cleveland sports fans were faced with a critical decision of what to watch at 8:00 p.m. ET—either the Cavaliers ring ceremony or Game 1 of the World Series. This will see the Indians play the winner of the Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers. Both are landmark events in Cleveland sports history, so it’s understandable there could be controversy over choosing a station.
Well, Cleveland and all sports fans no longer have to worry about making a decision. On Friday, the NBA announced the ring ceremony would be moved up to 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT. This will allow everyone to tune in to see them receive their championship rings before changing channels for the start of the World Series.

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert would then confirm the news about the new start time to accommodate the fans.
Hey @cavs fans: #CavsOpener now starting @ 7:30pm. Wanted to spread out 2 of the greatest sports moments in CLE history by @ least 30 min...

This will thrill Cleveland fans the most who get to enjoy both. Maybe for those who attend Game 1 of the World Series, the Indians could play the Cavs ring ceremony on the video screen. There will be a packed house of fans, so plenty of people may want to see LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and others receive their rings.
The Cavs face the New York Knicks after their ring ceremony. They’ll look to start off with a win as they aim for back to back NBA championships.
The Indians may find out who they face on Saturday night. The Cubs currently lead the Dodgers, 3-2 and play at 8:00 p.m. ET. If they win, we’ll get the World Series matchup set four days in advance.

Cleveland sports has risen from the ashes over the past six months, at least for the Indians and Cavaliers. Now, if only the Browns could find a quarterback.
