Navy vs. South Florida live stream: how to watch online
Here’s how you can watch Friday night’s AAC game between the Navy Midshipmen and the South Florida Bulls.
The American Athletic Conference gets a Friday night stage this week, with the No. 22 Navy Midshipmen (5-1) traveling to take on the South Florida Bulls (6-2).
Navy authored one of the notable upsets of the 2016 season back on Oct. 8, with a 46-40 win over then-No. 6-ranked Houston, and they’re coming off a 42-28 win over Memphis last Saturday. South Florida lost last Saturday, 46-30 to Temple, but their only other loss so far this season was to Florida State and they’re on their way to a second straight bowl game under head coach Willie Taggart.
The calling card for both offenses is the running game. Navy’s option attack is fourth in the country in rushing offense (293.2 yards per game) and South Florida entered this week 11th nationally in rush offense (255.5 yards per game). Will Worth has capably directed Navy’s run-first offense, with a team-high 489 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on ground this season. South Florida quarterback Quinton Flowers is his team’s leading rusher as well (745 yards, with eight touchdowns), but he’s much more of a dual threat with over 1,700 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns and a 150.6 passer rating so far this season.

In a road game against a tough opponent , even if South Florida may not have national notice, Navy is on upset alert here. Taggart is probably already on the radar for bigger head coaching jobs, and a win Friday night would only bolster that talk.
