Adoree’ Jackson had a trifecta and the USC Trojans trounced the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the rain on Saturday.

The USC Trojans are rolling and want to play two more games instead of one. While that is up to whether or not Colorado defeats Utah, the Trojans flexed their muscles on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday.

The Trojans and Fighting Irish played a close one early, but Adoree’ Jackson had an incredible day to break it open. Showing just how dynamic of a player her is, Jackson did it all on the field and with speed to follow.

He had a receiving touchdown and then flexed his muscles on his return abilities. He had a punt return touchdown and a kickoff return that went 97 yards for a score. His first, which was the punt, really set the tone in the first half. By this point, Notre Dame had no answer for him and they were rattled.

DeShone Kizer would throw an ugly pick-six to Ajene Harris and the Trojans were rolling. Jackson put together some of those big plays in the second half and that was all the Trojans would need for a win in the rain against the Irish, who were able to tack on a garbage-time touchdown.

Three Stars

3. Sam Darnold

The USC quarterback once again did his job and put his team in position to win the game. He threw two big touchdowns in the win.

2. Ronald Jones II

Jones averaged over eight yards on the ground and finished with 134 yards and a touchdown. The rushing attack has been the biggest key to the offense over their streak.

1. Adoree’ Jackson

Jackson was all over the field in dynamic fashion. He had a receiving touchdown, returned a kick for a touchdown and returned a punt for a touchdown. It was an incredible performance.

Highlights

What’s Next?

USC will now await to see if Colorado beats Utah. If Utah wins, then USC wins the Pac-12 South. If not, they’ll await their bowl game. Notre Dame is done and will have plenty of questions to answer going forward.
