Nobody can spell Kyle Lowry correctly
The NBA All-Star game ballots released vote totals today and right now Toronto Raptors point guard, Kyle Lowry, is struggling to gain recognition. Ranking sixth among guards in the Eastern Conference, Lowry is behind Kyrie Irving, Dwyane Wade, DeMar DeRozan, Isaiah Thomas, and Derrick Rose in votes cast so far. In total votes Lowry is also behind Jimmy Butler, Kristaps Porzingis, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, and even Joel Embiid.
Considering how great Lowry has been so far this is pretty disappointing. A definite argument can be made for Thomas and Irving to be ranked ahead of him, and his teammate DeRozan is having an incredible season in his own right, but his votes still pale in comparison to those in front of him. This has to be frustrating for fans that have been working tirelessly to get their two favorite Raptors into the All-Star game. DeRozan still has a shot as a starter, but Lowry’s chances on getting in as a starter are beginning to look grim.

There has to be a reason for Lowry being so far behind. It can’t be the market as Toronto is a huge city, and the Raptors have an entire country on their side. Perhaps his teammate, DeRozan, is stealing a few votes that would usually be sent the point guard’s way? There’s a mystery here that needs to be solved and I’m sure if we all come together the solution will be something that nobody ever saw coming. A glitch in the system perhaps? Wait a minute, through some secret blogging channels and expert research a solution to the cause has been discovered. Let’s go to Twitter with the update.
……..spelling? That’s the reason a point guard that has been absolutely dominant this year is currently paling in the amount of votes as his fellow guards? Oh dear. Well, at least the reason for his falling behind has been discovered. Now it’s time for damage cleanup. The Raptors need to set out a PSA on voting for their favorite point guard. It’s Kyle Lowry not Lowery, not KLOE, and definitely not Lowary. It’s Lowry. Memorize that and vote as often as possible. That, or convince the NBA to allow votes in with a typo. Surely there aren’t any other players having similar problems right?
