Sometimes you just don’t want to go to work. We’ve all been there before whether it was a rough night sleep, life being difficult, or you’re just not feeling it that particular day. Maybe you really want to go play the new Resident Evil and the last place you want to be is slaving away at a 9-5. Denver Nuggets Point Guard, Jameer Nelson knows just how you feel when it comes to working on a day you’d rather be anywhere else. However, unlike you he found a way to get out of work as soon as he possibly could and that’s by getting ejected almost immediately after the game started.
Jameer Nelson just got tossed and I can't tell why from my spot. Must've said something to the official. Two techs in 5 seconds.

Jameer Nelson is a hero to all of us. The team he was supposed to play tonight was the Memphis Grizzlies and nobody ever wants to play them. The Grizzlies are big and physical with a play style that leaves you sore the next day regretting all that you hold dear in your life. Nelson is a 13-year veteran that just doesn’t have the time for a February basketball game against the Grizzlies. Which is why he made the smart and calculated decision to get tossed as quick as humanly possible and take the night off.

Nelson did what so many of us wish we could do at our jobs and now he’s probably on his way to whatever his evening plans were. A late night on the town in the Denver night life? A nice dinner at that one place he’s really been wanting to try? The sky is the limit for Mr. Nelson, and I applaud him. May he inspire all of us to chase our dreams and walk out of work whenever we want to.
