Ball gets stuck during FSU vs Xavier, PJ Savoy hits the floor hard (Video)

We had a wedgie in the NCAA Tournament game between Florida State and Xavier, and PJ Savoy took a hard fall in the process
As the Second Round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament rolls along Saturday, one of the matchups we’re treated to is from the West Region as the Florida State Seminoles take on the Xavier Musketeers. And in the first half of this one, we got quite the rare occurrence.
Florida State was down big early to Xavier in this one, and they were looking to make a comeback. They were able to do that as the first half was coming to a close, but it hit quite the snag.

The Seminoles’ PJ Savoy was looking to take the ball to the rim, but he was caught by the Xavier defender right behind him, who was able to get the block. Well because of the block, the ball got stuck between the rim and the backboard. That wasn’t the worst part, though. As the ball got stuck, Savoy hit the deck hard in a scary fall.
Savoy would roll around in pain — obviously — on the floor for a few seconds, but thankfully he would get up and be fine.
With that being the case, now we can all laugh at the fact that the wedgie took place here on Saturday in this West Region contest. It doesn’t happen all that often, but when it does, it’s really never not funny.
That occurrence, though, may have stalled the momentum of the Seminoles, as Xavier went to extend their lead to double-digits once again not long after.
