Thunder Out, Cavs and Warriors Resting, Plus Dancing with the Local Stars

Russell Westbrook’s historic season came to an end on Tuesday night. Support poured out from all around the NBA thanking Westbrook for the greatness we all got to witness this season. Kayla is understandably heart broken her team is out, but looking forward to Russ being named league MVP in June (so she thinks).

With a sweep in the first round, The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are obviously getting extra rest. The two teams will both get at least one week breaks before their second round of the NBA playoffs commence, potentially putting other teams at a disadvantage, as if they weren’t already.

Do the Chicago Bulls have any shot with Rajon Rondo out with a broken thumb? Carm has lost hope after being so high on his team last week even with the outside possibility of Rondo coming back in Game 6 or 7.

The 2017 NFL draft kicks off Thursday and Carm thinks it’s the worst story in all of sports to discuss. Kayla tries to explain how she feels about the draft and the months of hype leading up to it, but we’re not sure if her reason makes sense and neither is she. Basically, if there’s not a quarterback as the front-runner she’s not interested. Best of luck to all in the draft!

Around MLB, Blue Jays utility man Chris Coghlan made an impressive play at the plate against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night when he somersaulted over Yadier Molina and was ruled safe. Giants ace Madison Bumgarner will be out at least two months due to a shoulder injury in a dirt back accident he suffered during the teams off day in Colorado. Not the brightest idea this talented pitcher has had.

Carm is competing in a local Dancing with the Stars competition so Kayla gave him a lesson in the basics to hopefully give him a head start. How did it go? We’ll let you be the judge.

In this weeks winners and losers segment, Rockets owner Leslie Alexander topped our list after confronting a referee in Houston’s final game against the Thunder. Also in the loser category are Jabril Peppers and Reuben Foster who both tested positive for diluted samples just days before the draft. On our winners side, Serena Williams confirms her pregnancy through a heartfelt Instagram post and not taking crap from anyone about it!
