A Rabbid dressed as Princess Peach is on Instagram, and it definitely has more followers than you.

The masses of the gaming world found themselves strangely excited for the Nintendo and Ubisoft collaboration Mario + Rabbids Kingdom. Met mostly with ridicule when it was first announced, people were won over after the gameplay demo was presented at E3 2017.

The trailer gave us a look at some of the characters in the game, both the classic Nintendo characters and the Rabbids dressed like them.

One of the cheekiest was undoubtedly Rabbid Peach, who marched through the trailer with cell phone in hand.

It turns out that Rabbid Peach isn’t just taking selfies for the sake of getting a laugh. She is actually taking selfies. In fact, she has a thriving Instagram account with over 9,000 followers.

Of course, this selfie-laden Instagram account is not actually run by Rabbid Peach, as she was made by programers and from pixels. Rabbid Peach’s Instagram is a rather genius ploy by the marketing team of Mario + Rabbids to promote the game. Scrolling through older posts, one discovers that the account used to be the official Instagram account for Rabbids but now it has shifted its attention to the upcoming Nintendo crossover.

While we understand that Rabbid Peach’s Instagram account is designed to make us want to buy the game, we also have to admit that she posts some great content. At the very least, we admire the fact that she clearly understands what the Instagram community wants. I mean, we’ve all had that friend who posts how they unwind after a long day. Heck, that friend might even be you.

And if you just had glamor shots done, would you also not post one choice pic to Insta?

Honestly, Rabbid Peach just gets it. You keep doing you, girl.
