Five more names were added to WWE’s upcoming Mae Young Classic.

This summer, WWE will feature its first all-female tournament, known as the Mae Young Classic. 32 women will compete to honor Mae Young, the late legend of the wrestling business, and become the first-ever winner of this event.

Previously, WWE announced Toni Storm, Lacey Evans, Sarah Logan and Princesa Sugehit as the first five competitors in the Mae Young Classic. Evans and Logan were already signed with WWE.

However, on Thursday, five more talents for the event were announced in a press release. This will see Tessa Blanchard, Abbey Laith, Taynara Conti, Jazzy Gabert and Kavita Devi join the field and bring the total number of entrants to nine.

Blanchard is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard, known for his time in the legendary Four Horsemen stable. Tessa previously competed in matches on NXT TV over the past two years.

Laith is the former Kimber Lee, who signed with WWE in the same class as Heidi “Ruby Riot” Lovelace, in January 2017. She appeared on multiple episodes of NXT this year, under her real name of Kimberly Frankele.

As WWE noted, Conti will be one of the least-experienced competitors in the Mae Young Classic. She competed in mixed martial arts and was part of the judo events in the 2016 Olympic trials.

Gabert stands at 6-foot-1 and hails from Germany. She’s a former champion in Japan’s Stardom wrestling promotion and found success all over the world.

Devi is the first Mae Young Classic competitor announced from India. She trained under former WWE star The Great Khali and had a tryout in April.
