Just over three weeks before the season starts, ESPN has released its announce teams for the 2017 college football season.

Conference media days are in the rearview mirror, and the 2017 college football season is just 25 days away from starting.

The sports broadcasting and media landscape is always shifting, but there has been remarkable turnover and movement on the NFL and college football front heading into the new season. Retirements, re-assignments, firings and such have sparked that movement, and roles have changed even for those who have remained in place.

On that note, ESPN has released a list of their announce teams for the 2017 college football season. For reference, the order goes the play-by-person, the booth analyst and the sideline reporter where that’s applicable.

There are a few things of note. Right at the top, Maria Taylor will take over sideline duties on the ABC Saturday night prime time game for Samantha Ponder, who is stepping in for Chris Berman as host of ESPN’s NFL Sunday Countdown this year. Next on the list, former Ole Miss, Auburn and Cincinnati head coach Tommy Tuberville is stepping in alongside longtime play-by-play man Mike Patrick.

The SEC Network Saturday night prime time team is also changing, with Tom Hart and Jordan Rodgers notably replacing Brent Musberger and Jesse Palmer in the play-by-play and analyst roles. Musberger, of course, retired to start a sports gambling operation, while Palmer will shift to a studio role in place of Danny Kanell. Former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy is also making a move up the pecking order, from SEC Network to booth analyst alongside Dave Pasch on an ESPN/ABC game.

Along with his move to the Saturday studio host spot on ABC, Kevin Neghandi seems to be set to do play-by-play for some midweek #MACtion come November. The current SportsCenter AM anchor will surely be replaced on that weekday show, or he at least won’t be on it as much,
