PSG announced the signing of Brazilian phenom Neymar with a vibrant new video.

Paris Saint-Germain are clearly excited to be welcoming Brazilian forward Neymar to the club. PSG made that clear in a new promotional video posted to Twitter.

The video packs a punch in just 12 seconds of air time.

It begins with simple music heard during many soccer broadcasts, but then erupts into fast-paced Brazilian style music. To further illuminate the combination of cultures, the video starts with the streets of Paris, which shifts to the Eiffel Tower being lit up in green, yellow and blue, the colors of the Brazilian flag.

They released a second video shortly after.

It ends suddenly with the phrase “he’s coming” dashing on to the screen. Like Neymar’s playing style, PSG’s video is quick and finishes well. It is always moving and packs a lot into such a short time.

It was just announced that Neymar would be joining PSG from Barcelona. The latter accepted a payment of 222 million Euros which activates his buyout clause. This move blows away the world record for a soccer transfer. Manchester United paid 105 million Euros for Paul Pogba from Juventus last year.

Barcelona and La Liga plan on disputing PSG’s ability to pay this hefty sum. They want to ensure that all of this is being done in good faith, so they will report the transfer to UEFA to be certain PSG fits under all of the financial fair play regulations. PSG previously broke these rules in 2014, which resulted in sanctions.

It is no wonder that PSG were willing to pay such a ridiculous amount for Neymar. He has been at the top of his game the past few years in Barcelona. He was a member of one of the most deadly attacking trios in recent history with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
