It’s not everyday that the NBA’s most simultaneously loved and hated player announces that he’s going to tweet while watching what some consider his best regular season performance of all time. Naturally, thousands of NBA fans, myself included, took part in the fun. Here’s a compilation of this afternoon’s best tweets. WARNING: Most of them do not accompany the #CountOnKobe hashtag. Here it is, from start to finish.
I can't believe I've never watched this game till now
— Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) January 22, 2013
Like anyone believes that Kobe Bryant never watched this game before… not to mention, it IS in his job requirement to do just that.
The first bucket of @kobebryant's 81 point game was a dunk by Smush Parker. Naturally. #CountOnKobe

is Kobe gonna live tweet Game 7 vs. Phoenix where he didn't show up in the 2nd half?
— Jon Dowd (@JayUnFazed) January 22, 2013
I imagine Kobe can't live tweet much because he's just reading through the team's roster thinking, "We have a worse record this year??"
